Terms of service and data protection agreement

AfterSale Suite for Shopify · last changed 20 September 2026

AfterSale is built and run by Ștefănică Ștefan Gheorghe PFA, a sole trader registered in Romania.

Questions, requests and complaints: contact@maste.ro. Every message is answered within 48 hours, even when the answer is "still looking".

These terms apply to every merchant who installs AfterSale. Installing the app is acceptance of them.

The service

AfterSale adds after-sale features to a Shopify store: order edits within a window the merchant sets, warranty registration, invoices, delivery problem reports, surveys, offers and store credit. The merchant chooses which of them are switched on.

Price

The plan is billed through Shopify's own billing, by the number of orders the store takes in a month. A change of plan takes effect on the next billing cycle. Shopify handles the payment; AfterSale never sees a card.

What the merchant is responsible for

What AfterSale is responsible for

Data protection agreement

For the personal data of the merchant's customers, the merchant is the controller and AfterSale is the processor. As processor, AfterSale:

Data is processed in the European Union, except for transactional email, which passes through a provider in the United States under the standard contractual clauses.

Liability

AfterSale is provided as it is. Liability is limited to the fees paid in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

Ending

A merchant ends the agreement by uninstalling. AfterSale may end it with 30 days' notice, or immediately if the app is used to break the law or Shopify's own rules.

The law

Romanian law, and the courts of Romania.
